The Skagit County Fair is bringing back its annual homebrew competition. The Anacortes Brewery / Rockfish Grill plans to commercially brew the winning beer. The competition is open to all BJCP Beer styles. To keep it simple this first year, we are planning to bin the entries as follows: 1. American Pale Ales Entries will be accepted until 5 August. Judging will take place at the Balefire Pub in Everett at 10am on Saturday, August 7th. I am not expecting more than 20 or 30 entries, so entrants should have pretty good odds to get a beer commercially brewed. I will be collecting entries at Beerstock this weekend. Or folks can drop them off at Homebrew Heaven or NW Brewers Supply. Rules and flyer attached.
